What’s the consensus here, are we keeping or deleting our information from 23andMe now that they were bought out?
Top Comment: I’d keep it, but it’s entirely up to what you personally feel most comfortable with. The other bit of it to remember, is that it was the founder of the company herself who bought it out, so it’s not some random unknown person or holding company.

Softlaunch is so sad now, you can’t do anything anymore. Someone tell me that they’ll fix softlaunch and make it how it was to feed my delusions so I’m not sad anymore :(

My name is Sean, I'm the Specialty Vehicle Manager here at Serramonte Ford.
Thank you for putting in a pre-order with us. Ford has finally given us the details for the 2023 Maverick Ordering. There's a lot of information to parse through, so please read in full before sending any questions.
For 2023, Ford anticipates that supply chain will continue to be a struggle for Maverick production. As such, they expect that the Maverick order bank will only remain open for a short period of time. We believe that we have a huge jump start on this with your pre-orders, but we know that Hybrid will be very popular again and likely sell out very quickly. We will share with you the close dates when we have them.
The Maverick order bank opens 9/15, that's this Thursday. I've got your pre-order ready to go, and we'll enter your basic order Thursday which puts a timestamp on your order, hopefully this will allow your order to schedule quicker since we'll have your order in as soon as possible. Your basic order includes Trim Level (XL/XLT/Lariat) and engine/drive system (FWD/AWD). If you change this from what you gave us initially, it will reset your timestamp (ONLY Trim and Drive System). We do not expect the hybrid to be offered as an AWD. This is not the end of the process, however. Here are the steps to finalize your order to ensure it is correct.
- I will submit your order as a basic build. This gives you the earliest possible entry in to the system.
- I will send out the Ordering Guide to you. This document has all the available options/configurations for Maverick. This is what we'll use to complete the final order.
- You send me the list of options you want on your Maverick, using the option codes from the Ordering Guide. (I know you gave us a build sheet when we took your Pre-Order, we're doing this due to the changes to the 2023 Model Year)
- I will input your selected options to generate an order confirmation sheet and email it to you. For this I will need your complete address, email, and phone number.
- Review your order sheet, sign and return to finalize your order.
You'll be able to make changes to your order until it schedules for production. Here are the highlighted changes for 2023:

The 2023MY Maverick Build & Price experience on Ford.com is anticipated to go live in early October.

Are any other manufacturers telling their customers not to order options to avoid delays or is this mainly a Ford thing? I see the Chevy and Dodge lots packed with new vehicles and the Ford lot primarily occupied with used vehicles and it seems worse now than when covid first hit causing shortages.

Late January, an insider who is close to Ye's associates approached the moderation team of this subreddit with some information regarding what Ye has been up to music wise. We were able to verify as best as we could given that he didn't want to risk his identity. The info he provided to verify himself however was convincing and we have a few people in the mod team that were able to corroborate some of the verification information. That being said, here is what he shared:
- During January several James Blake X Ye tracks had been continually worked on.
- Could not confirm if James himself was aware the tracks were still being worked, although "it is not likely."
- What the general public is calling "Always" & "Showtime" have received slight tweaks, although no new vocals were recorded as of the week of January the 29th.
- Insider provided a snippet, posted by u/Ye_Yong https://www.reddit.com/r/GoodAssSub/comments/118j1lk/fresh_snippet_always_december_2022/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=iossmf - Closer to CDQ and slighter different, it has been adjusted slightly. The link says “Sped Up,” unclear if done by Insider himself or maybe it’s an experimental version.
- Other songs like the one tentatively named "Philly Scum" by some have remained fairly unheard from the general public and are set for release in the near future as they are nearly finished.
- Insider implied Ye is working on several projects, some work for music for himself as well as production work for a GOOD Music affiliate.
- Ye has completely moved on from the Donda aesthetic and Donda naming scheme.
- The next sound Ye has being going for has a very strong New Orleans Bounce influence as well as a "revival" of sorts of his Soul-Sample days, although it most definitely incorporates some more modern-day trap influence.
- Ye's team is very aware of the Ye reddit communities.
- Provided a short snippet of a BlaqNmilD X Ye instrumental which was last worked on 1/7/23, was asked not to share this snippet however and only describe it. He would not go into detail as to why I should not share it with everyone but I will respect his wishes. It's a very unfinished beat, no drums, flute is way too loud, but you can definitely see the dance hall influences. No vocals. Reminds me of the early unfinished Yeezus demos only in that it sounds super rough.
- BlaqNmilD is a fairly known New Orleans based producer. Insider believes Ye hit his line after hearing his work on Beyonce's latest album and some older Drake tracks sometime in late 2022
- Ye has had trouble clearing several samples used in songs that he had planned to recently release on streaming.
- Insider is very positive that if Ye wanted too he could release on streaming right now and he would have little to no trouble uploading music.

Currently specialized, yt, and canyon have great sales. I don't want to miss out on a great bike from one of those by waiting in hopes that trek has the bike I want on sale. Definitely a shot in the dark I know lol.

You can take a breath. It’s cool you are excited but right now things in the bike industry are in your favor. There is a major supply-side surplus because the Covid demand dropped off.
The best part is that the bike flippers on the secondary market are getting fucked hard and raw.

The lack of a renewal period for existing members is a joke - remember membership sold out last year. Shouldn't be a free-for-all, imagine if they did the same with season tickets?
Also interesting to note that they're not even pretending you have a shot at away tickets anymore with a membership and the mention of the word "ballot" has me quite concerned, I'd rather not pay £37 to enter a lottery for each home game, would like an explanation before giving the club my money.
Between the ridiculous lateness of his announcement, the price increase (was £30 last year), the removal of benefits (no physical membership pack), the lack of a renewal period and details not being properly explained, this is really shoddy work by the club, and an example of poor fan communication/treatment that rivals the Ashley years.
Edit - the way literally any criticism of the club is downvoted since the takeover is becoming properly boring. Lads, you don't have to think the new owners are perfect in literally everything they do. I appreciate a lot of people on this sub don't go to games so stuff like memberships being poorly handled probably doesn't matter to you, but if you check social media, you'll see a lot of other match-going fans not very happy about this either.
